For the next 40 days I am reading "He Reads Truth: Lent 2016" as a daily devotional. While I am preparing for the celebration of Easter I have decided to journal my thoughts and share them. If they seem scattered or disconnected it is because these words are my immediate response to each daily reading.
I am man. Mortal. There are times when my body hurts and aches. It is dying. I am dying. Blood, sweat, tears, skin, and dirt. I was formed from the dirt and one day I will return to the dirt. I was born naked and in pain, and I will die the same way.
But there is Life. There is One who did not begin, nor will he end. He is life and love. He became blood, sweat, tears, skin, and dirt. He stepped down from heaven and walked the Earth. He live in pain and was harmed by His creation. He lived and died, but then He lived. He lives.
He conquered death and the grave and gave me life. He is life and now I have life. God, Yahweh, Yeshua, Jesus. He is life and joy. Live.
